Addressing the newly inducted recruits through video conferencing, the Prime Minister said the Rozgar Mela symbolises the Centre’s commitment to creating employment opportunities and empowering young Indians to contribute to nation-building.

“India’s youth are playing a vital role in accelerating the journey towards a Viksit Bharat. Rozgar Mela reflects our Government’s commitment to empowering the Yuva Shakti with new opportunities,” Modi said.
Emphasising India’s growing global stature, the Prime Minister said countries across the world were keen to partner with India because of its youthful population and rapid technological advancement.
“The world is very excited about India’s youth and India’s technological progress. Today, the world wants to become a part of India’s development journey,” he said.
Modi highlighted the rapid growth of emerging sectors such as clean energy, green hydrogen, critical minerals and sustainable manufacturing, saying these industries were creating fresh economic possibilities and opening new avenues of employment.
“Partnerships in these areas are opening the doors to a new economy and new opportunities,” he noted.
The Prime Minister said the country was moving ahead with the collective resolve to build a developed India by 2047 and stressed that investments in infrastructure, innovation and key sectors were generating large-scale employment opportunities for the youth.
“Today, every Indian is moving forward with a great resolve. This resolve is to build a developed India by 2047,” he said.
Pointing to changes in rural India, Modi said improved connectivity had transformed opportunities for farmers, students and small traders in villages.
“Today, rapid change is visible even in villages. With increasing connectivity, new avenues have opened up for farmers, small traders, and students,” he said.
Calling upon the newly recruited employees to dedicate themselves to public service, the Prime Minister said Indian youth were excelling globally and should bring the same spirit into governance and administration.
“Today, India’s youth are making their mark in every field across the world. The same spirit and the same energy should also be reflected in public service,” he added.
Modi also referred to agreements signed during his recent visits to countries including the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Italy, saying such partnerships would strengthen India’s future and directly benefit its young population.
“All these agreements come with a guarantee of a bright and capable India,” he said.
The 19th Rozgar Mela was organised at 47 locations across the country. The newly selected candidates will join departments including the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services and Department of Higher Education.
According to official figures, nearly 12 lakh appointment letters have been distributed through 18 Rozgar Melas held so far since the initiative was launched.
